If you think you are ready to compete in bass fishing against kids your own age and you have a boat of your own, then
the 12th Annual Junior Bass Tournament Trail may be just for you.
12th Annual Junior Bass Tournament Trail
Sponsored by the Broward County Parks and Recreation Division and Gambler Lures.
Registration is now being taken for the 2010 program.
The program is specifically designed for kids ages 12—17.
All
participants must be accompanied by an adult 18 yrs. of age or older.
The
adult will not be permitted to fish.
All
participants must fish from a boat.
Tournament
rules are similar to those used in professional bass tournaments.
Trophies
are awarded at each monthly tournament for First thru Third place and Big Bass.
Tournament
point totals are compiled over the four months of competition.
The
angler with the most points at the end of the competition will be named Junior Angler of the Year and will be awarded a special
prize package.
Cost
of the program is $65 for each participant and covers all four tournaments. There is no fee for the adult in the boat.
Registration is very limited----only 20 registrations will be taken----early registration is suggested.
Payment must be received in advance to secure a roster spot.
To
meet the age requirement you must be either 12 or 17 before or on the date of the first tournament.
